El Pulpo Tapas - Middletown

Lomo de Cerdo could be the best tasting I've ever put in my mouth. The seafood paella would have had a little more sokarrate, but was also delicious. My wife had the shrimp with garlic sauce and La Cazuelita. Both were excellent. Combine this with an attentive and friendly staff and absolutely reasonable prices.... This place is not to be missed.

We came to our reservations yesterday at 6:15. The location was very difficult to find, it was in a small shopping center. When we sat, we ordered our drinks. We had to wait for 45 minutes to order our appetizers. As soon as we have ordered our appetizers, it did not come up by 7:40 about an hour and half after the order, which seems ridiculous. As soon as it waited for the two-hour sign of us, we asked our waiter to announce our entrees and asked for our check. Our waitress came by and apologized and said she forgot to fire our meal! Probably the worst service I've ever received in a restaurant. We went without food at 8:30. Would not recommend this place

The restaurant was very busy with apparently only two servers to cover the entire restaurant. Appetizers were amazing. Dinner was not served at the same time, slow drinks refills. The servers were thrilled, but needed more support. Definitely miss the Southington location.

Outstanding tapas dishes, great red wines by the glass. In fairness, service and noise level weren't great because it was Cinco de Mayo... will definitely go again to try more dishes!

Birthday dinner enjoyed by all! Specials were delicious. Highly recommend!
