The Olde Boars Head - Middleton

I've eaten here a few times but today's experience wasn't good, I wanted to order the cheese pie with mashed potatoes and beans but they couldn't swop chips for mash, dont know why as they are both potatoes so I ordered sausage mash and beans instead, it arrived smothered in strong smelling onion gravy, who puts onion gravy with beans, I had to just pick at the bits and cover it with beans. Also I feel more veggie options would be good, my partner is veggie always ends up with cheese pie or burger, thankfully he likes chips.

Beautiful place to enjoy! five immediately! the customer service in the pub is excellent!

Excellent food, staff really friendly. Would recommend.
