Aces Chippy - Middlesbrough

I always give a place chance. This I have gave it to many. Every time i bought from here and has been sub standard. Last week was the last time. The chips for three of the meals i ordered were mostly bruised and off. Making them meals they could not of avoided seeing the state of the chips. That's shocking. Also some items on the fish menu are a joke ...example a fish butty is 75% bun with a tiny piece of fish. Never again will I go to this excuse of a fish and chips shop.

Placed an order with palladium fish and chips to be delivered at 5.15 pm still hadn’t come by 6.45 so rang them only to be told they don’t deliver they expected me to pick up the cold food I said no and asked for a refund which they refused. I will never use this place again absolutely fuming . He said he rang me and I did receive a missed call and when I looked up number it was all foreign.

Chips where luvly , wifes chicken parmo was not cooked in the middle , she through it in the bin, safe to say wont be going here no more

Always perfectly clean and friendly welcome. Fish and chips cooked to order, well wait the few minutes. The light crispy dough simply melts in the mouth. Give them an attempt not to be disappointed

Bang on! The staff is pleasant and welcoming, the food was fresh and the taste was exceptional. The cod was made to order, beautiful crispy dough, juicy inside and not drained water like some when fresh. The chips were delicious and the part was generous. Defo visits this place again!
