Café Pompette - Middelland Nederland

Nice restaurant, nice atmosphere, good wine but not for vegetarians. We were a group of 4 people and during the reservation we asked if there were vegetarian options available, the answer was yes: we are going to prepare a dish with the vegetables that are available. In the restaurant we were told that the main course consists of potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, parsnips and carrots. That's exactly what we got: 1 potato, few artichokes, caramelized onions, 1 parsnip and 1 carrot all with some gravy. Maybe it fits just like a starter but far from a main course. Really disappointing as a main course. Especially when the price is €24. It would have been better if the restaurant simply said that we are a French restaurant with a focus on meat/fish dishes and that we do not do vegetarian dishes instead of disappointing people Vegetarian options: No good options available

Yesterday I had dinner with my son at café Pompette. Behind the bar was a Spanish Contador cutting fresh ham. The dishes served were surprisingly tasty and delicious. In our opinion, the dessert had a wow! Effect. We had a wonderful evening, partly due to the pleasant service and pleasant atmosphere. This is highly recommended when we are in Rotterdam again, we will definitely come back here! Parking: Enough Service: Dine in
