A hidden gem in Verona suburbs with extraordinary owners, amazing food and unmatched wine selection. Located in the old small monastery this place is so unique as it can get! Bacco D’Oro is not only a restaurant but also a boutique hotel with few recently renovated rooms. Martina is by far the most hospitable person we have ever met. With “yes attitude” to all our ideas and asks we felt extremely welcomed. When it comes to food and wine I could write here a book. Let me just mention amazing Fiorentina steak and home made ravioli with sea-bass. Literally everything we tried (in a group of 13 over two days) was delicious. Though I need to warn you about going down to the wine cellar. This is when wine lovers will be lost for good. Superb selection is Valpolicella Ripasso, Superiore and Amarone cannot hi unnoticed. We will be back for sure!

We had an absolutely amazing dinner: food was delicious and highest quality. The wines were very good too. Service was great. We got recommendation from our hotel and did not know what to expect, and it turned out the best dinner of our trip! The staff were very nice and friendly, service was great. The price was very good for what you get.

It was not the first time we had dinner at this restaurant and as usaual it was a very good experience, great food and wines.
