Stacey's Place - Mexico

If you like authentic diners and diner food, this is your place! Staff is attentive and efficient and the food is good. It's not unusual for the owner to come out to say hello and check to see how you're doing.

It was sufficient walked in was greeted assigned a table brought menu I ordered coffee that was brought, I just asked for chicken fried steak mashed taters and gravy green beans. I would say their chicken fried steak was better than the diner 54 they're green beans at Stacey's was way better then diner 54. I didn't leave a tip using my card but I did leave a $5 tip cash.

I ordered the catfish dinner and got two nuggets with no seasoning. The green beans were in need of salt too. The fries and onion rings were good but I didn't think I ordered from the kid's menu. I'd be ashamed to serve that.

The breaded pork tenderloin was a huge disappointment. About 6 in diameter and cost $10.95. They charged us extra for a plate because I shared the sandwich even though the extra bun we paid for came on a plate. Wouldn't recommend this place. First and last time there. Was almost$20 for 1 sandwich and 2 glasses of tea. Extra charge for lettuce pickles onions and tomato.

This was a really good stop after driving all day. Food was hot and very good. Definitely make real burgers at this place. Good job guys!
