L'Authentique - Metz

I chose this restaurant because of the moules marinate shield outside. if I'm in france, I have to have some moule frit. these were very small, but delicious. very good with a few glasses from asace riesling. finished with a very nice cream brûlée (that is my restaurant benchmark) and a coffee. I really enjoyed this meal.

We arrived at 10 o'clock and could order 2 more courses. very friendly top notch service, good weinberatung and good eating.

We were the first ones at opening one evening, and had a lovely dinner (but plan on >2 hours). Host greeted everyone at the door, and the staff only spoke French--and there are no menus in other languages. But I managed to get us a very nice meal with salmon, chicken, duck, and carpaccio. Good cocktail and wine list too.

Great restaurant, impecable service, ample wine list , play du hour a 10,50€ try the salads , the bone narrow and the tartare.
