Bistro Mirabell - Mettlach

The first and last time we visit this restaurant! I had Cordon Bleu and my partner I had Bluespaghetti. The spaghetti was tasteless and my cordon ball was shocking to say it least. 2 small pieces that looked out came from a frozen package and fried. Piles of mushrooms and chips, obv for the lack of Cordon-Bleu. It was most def one of the worst meals I had, and the service was not better either. You better go over the street and take a pizza. (Oh and my drink was served in a cracked glass). I am not sure when the other pictures were made, but it is the most def not so now!

After walking along the Saar River and hiking to the viewing platform we could find this great restaurant. Very friendly waiter, large Pils 4€, Riesling 5€ and flame cake 8-9,50€, refreshing strawberry 4.50€.

Bistro Mirabell is right next to the Cloef View Area and if you're ever in the area, you need to see the Cloef and enjoy a wonderful meal. The bistro has a great service, a wonderful modern decor and what looks like at home... cooked meals (delicious) with large portions. There were 10 of us from work there on my last trip and none of us could finish our meals, but despite the size of meals (and the party) everything came hot and tasty. Really worth the trip.

Stopped here for lunch after seeing the Saarschleife. The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the daiy special which was a combination plate of roast pork, baked chicken, fish baked in a bananna leaf with potatoes and salad. The service was prompt and courteous....Lovely Location. Would definately recommend this restaurant

We usually stay in Orscholz over night on our way to Austria. This is our favourite restaurant. Food consistently good. Staff friendly.
