Bidrage med feedbackPasta fresca for sharing, o. eggs tagliatelle mixed mushrooms. white wine cream sauce. truffle oil good as usual big portion enough for two, but the bad surprise arrived with the tiramisù, months ago it was the best I ever tasted in the philippines, but yesterday it was filipino style, all mascarpone and not even cold, only the glass was cold, no more to say
Va Bene has been reliable for delicious Italian comfort food since the restaurant opened more than 10 years ago in a very small place above a gas station in Makati. We visited the Va Bene branch in Bonifacio Global City in Central Square. It is a perfect place to get sumptuous Italian food before watching a movie which in our case was Godzilla, King of the Monsters. Our favorites are the Octopus salad, veal cheek ravioli with truffle oil, Italian meatballs and mushroom cream soup. Definitely a must try particularly for dinner if you are watching a last movie show at Central Square.
If you are looking for real Italian food of great quality and taste in Manila, look no further! Va Bene Pasta Deli is THE place to go to. Their menu was curated by Chef Massimo, an Italian himself, who was the Italian Chef of the Manila Peninsula Hotel. Food: Buono, delizioso!! I do not have a lot of Italian words to describe how good their food is. My photos don’t do them justice I know. My current pasta fave is the Black Ink Tagliolini!! But the Organic Eggs Tagliatelle comes a close second!! Ambiance and Cleanliness: Their BGC branch is very well kept and it is cozy. It looks super clean too! Price: I would say their pricing range really is fair because food quality (hello, fresh pasta! is really good, not to mention the authentic Italian flavors their food has that makes dining really enjoyable. Service: I have been to this branch twice and I must say that service us always great! I got greeted by a friendly host named Mario who did a great job in getting our orders correctly and served on time. Plus he does know their products very well. All in all I would recommend this place to both locals and expats alike. I would definitely come back soon!!!
If you wish to taste authentic Italian dishes at reasonable prices, VA BENE PASTA DELI is the place to go. The mushroom soup especially, is something you really have to try!
