Bidrage med feedbackOn Fridays, my group goes bar hopping. We happened to come across this bar at the fort strip around 12am and thought we'd give it a shot since Pablo's across the street is packed. Overall a great place to chill with friends. The DJ played 90s-current music for the crowd. Great drinks and good food. Check it out when you're at the strip.
A pretty decent place to grab a drink and chill with friends, Keg is a nice spot to hangout with. Food is just okay, nothing too fancy shmancy. When we got there we ordered pizzas, and it went well with our beer but that kind of stops there. The music selection is mighty fine, and the interiors are comfortable. Servers were nice and polite, although the serving of food can still be a bit faster.
Back for the first time in a veeery long time for a couple of post shift beers with my colleagues after a long day at work. Place sorta looks the same with minor changes and improvements, but two things remain the same their lousy pricey food and their poor service. We order their mozzarella blocks for munchies to go with our beer and my gosh, it tasted like oil. Instead of it being golden brown, it was awfully pale. It looked, tasted and really seemed as if it was rushed out of the fryer because I had already followed it up.. twice. It was paired with a jalapeño marinara sauce which was literally...just that. Two slices of bottled jalapeño on top of canned tomatoes in the smallest soy dish you could ever imagine. The serving of the sauce was so little, that it was only good for about two pieces of the mozzarella blocks. To top it off, we were being charged when we asked for extra sauce. It 's something I 'd call trabahong tamad cause the marinara was obviously straight out off the can. No seasoning whatsoever. It 's disappointing cause it cost me about P200. Not to mention, the servers don 't really keep track of what you order, that they charged us an extra 2 glasses of beer than what we had originally ordered. Such a huge disappointment. Makes me wonder how they claimed a spot in a prime area and lasted for quite a while. Boo.
The time that Fort Bonifacio got very popular, it's been very busy. There's just so much things happening in terms of the business district, shopping, restaurant scene, and party scene. This is basically one of the places where most people really like going to. It's a very nice place and people know that! in terms of the nightlife, almost all the popular clubs or bars are located here. Sometimes you'd just want to have a few beers while talking to friends and The Keg is a good place to do this. It's one of those places where you can grab some drinks before heading to the club or simply staying here the whole night. They have good music and it's not a boring place to be in. They have a full bar to cater to a lot of people's preferences in terms of liquor. They have indoor and outdoor areas to stay in. They have a lot of food choices that are affordable too. Some bar chow I'd recommend that go great with beer are AnnLee's Chicken Karaage, Fish and Chips, Baked Nachos, Garlic Fries, and the Mac and Cheese Balls!
Good ambiente, nice staff. beautiful place to relax on a Friday night.
