IHOP - Metro Manila

We ordered a split decision breakfast, chicken florentine crepe, western burger, chicken and waffles, mushroom Swiss burger, and a vanilla milkshake. In terms of the breakfast options, including pancakes and waffles, Denny's was better. However, for the chicken florentine and burgers, IHOP was superior. The service at IHOP was also faster and better. Despite the mixed reviews, I will definitely come back to this restaurant.

We stopped at this restaurant for breakfast on our way to work. We ordered the split decision breakfast, chicken and waffles, chicken Florentine, and western burger. The food was delicious. However, I was disappointed that it took them 10 minutes to seat us upstairs, even though there were plenty of available seats.

Every time I come across an IHOP restaurant, whether in the Philippines or in other countries, I always feel the urge to give it a try. Recently, I visited the IHOP branch in BGC and decided to try their Swiss mushroom burger. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite underwhelming. The burger was dry and lacking in cheese, despite the menu listing cheese as an ingredient. The price was quite high, especially considering I could find a tastier and more affordable burger at other restaurants. The service, however, was decent.

Maybe I'm not the best person to comment on this because I'm not a pancake person. Nor am I an IHOP person even when I first tried this restaurant in the US. But theirs are quite good. Falls a little below the hype but you know how people are with new things. Good place for Sunday brunch.

Well not much difference compared to other IHOP around the world. Though I felt more homey than when I am in other IHOP locations plus they serve Filipino breakfast.
