Bidrage med feedbackWe had , French Onion Soup. One order is good for sharing, they can split it upon request. Best soup to try whenever you visit this place. Roast Prime Ribs of Beef, End Cut ♥️served with Yorkshire pudding, spinach soufflé, baked potato and creamed corn Prawns Thermidore, 5 pieces of mouth watering prawns in special sauce, with steamed veggies and mashed potato on the side Verdict: i love everything we had. Their steak is simply the best and Price is reasonable. I enjoyed the Prawns Thermidore. Before , we order separate Roast Prime Ribs.. and its one big meal! So surf and turf is a great idea. This place is under rated, since its located in an old place (Aberdeen Court). But definitely one of my favorite place. It has great food and service⭐️
Ate here last nights night since it is still one of the few places that servers Prince Albert style prime rib. Although the taste was pretty much the same, so many things were so disappointing from the quality of the beef itself, which has gone down considerably and the service which was just plain bad last night. From getting all the small requests wrong like asking for butter and getting water to their blank faces and zero action when we complained about the quality to beef and amount of fat. Might take a while for us to come back.
Dined with my ex-GF in this resto years ago and we could only remember how good the steak was. Fast forward 2017 and we came back expecting the same experience. We could not say the same anymore. Ordered their bestseller- Gulliver's cut. Taste and size were good, but the texture of the meat is inferior. Seems that it was not thawed enough before grilling. The yorkshire pudding, spinach souffle and baked potato would not impress as well. Sad that we now have this place in the bottom of our list. :(
This place is the epitome of understated. Housed in a hotel that looks like it was straight from the 80s, the restaurants decor makes me feel like I'm in an old English tavern. It felt oddly romantic though, with the dim lights and candles. Ordered a petit prime rib and it is probably the best I've ever tasted, much better than those in England even! It's not cheap at 895P but in my opinion, worth the money. The beef was melt in the mouth tender, the sides were flavourful and we'll executed. This is a hidden gem that I'm so glad I found!
