La Madeleine - Metairie

Amazing service. Amazing food. Great environment.. Lovely staff very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely amazing, made our night truly wonderful. 10/10 would recommend. We had a lovely time! I love La Madeleine, one of my favorites especially around the holidays.

Ordered large Caesar’s salad with French onion soup. French onion soup did not have the cheese and crouton. Soup was overloaded with onions and was not that good. The Caesar’s salad dressing tasted nothing like a Caesar’s dressing. I have been going to the Metairie location for over 25 years and will never go back to any laMadeleine based on this lack of food quality. Extremely disappointed long-time customer.

Ordered avocado toast. Next to no avocado. Most expensive slice of toast I ever had. I don't recommend.

What happened to this place? Zero customer service. Not welcoming. You walk is and instead of “Good evening” you get “you ordering”? Or “Whachu got”? then some of the back doors were open and you can see how messy their work area is! Eeewwwww! Definitely not the La Mediline I grew up with. Sorry but this place needs new management.

We stopped to pick up some dessert. We had the mini chocolate torte, carmel creme brulee and the 3 layer chocolate cake with raspberry jam. Everything was very good. The service was fast and the staff friendly.
