Cafe Du Monde - Metairie

Please hire people that know what they are doing. I went here this morning and ordered a frozen drink. The server asked me what size. There are several cups on the counter, but I knew I only had about $8 on my atm card. I said I wanted the $6.45 size. I would have enough to buy the drink. I asked the server which is the $6.45 size, he pointed to a large cup. I go to the cash register and the cashier says I owe her .54 cents. I looked at the register and it said $8.54 . I told her I ordered the $6.45 drink. I told her just to cancel the transaction and re-ring it for the cheaper price. She goes to the back room to get a manager, This manger has no clue what she is doing and keeps trying to re-ring the $8.54. She kept saying it was impossible. I said just give me the drink and take the .54 cents out of the tip jar. I didn’t screw up the order, it was the server and the manger. I ended up with no drink, several charges for a drink that was incorrect, and an incompetent manager. The whole staff had no idea how to take their mistake and make it right. Cafe Du Monde needs at least one person there that knows what to do. I knew I should’ve gone to Starbucks or PJs. Lakeside, please put a PJs in Lakeside Mall. Get rid of Cafe Du Monde and all the incompetent people that work there.

The coffee was super, the beignets amazing, however attention super uggg, they don't have manners or costumer service at all. We came last year and this time was a not nice experience. 2 just because the experience!

When in Rome... The beignets are very good. We had our first ones about a week ago would definitely go back for more, especially if they decide to expand into North Idaho. The chicory coffee was great, I liked it better than Starbucks drip coffee. A must, especially for first time New Orleans visitors. Don't feel you HAVE to try the French Quarter location, they have locations within a reasonable drive of the airport.

Their coffee smell surrounds the mall! It's in the middle part of the Lakeside shopping mall, correct me if I'm wrong but yeah their coffe tasted good here, definitely will come back..I tried their hot Mocha ! I love it

I eat there every time I can it's in the Lakeside Mall what can you say about that it's the best
