Restaurant in an authentic Italian style. Great staff and great service. Appetizers were at the top. Order a 12oz filet? Medium. It was very tasty and well seasoned, but cooked a little more than I expected. I wasn't amazed, but not disappointed. The highlight of my night was the cheese cake. I'd say it was probably the best cheese cake I've eaten in Louisiana. I didn't like the starter bread that was released because it was just simple, but hey, it was free. I would recommend this place for dinner?.

I was so excited for my family and I have some free time to try Austin's new to the area. Finally? I don't know where the people who left the Rave reviews ate, but the food I had was just a star because I can't leave stars. Smoked salmon app, Veal Austin and pork apron?.the smoked salmon was the best thing of the night?.Other than the tea?.seriously doubt that the salmon was made in the house, so no credit should be given there. The content of the app board was somewhat confusing, but decisive. The calfs were a fried calf cut? the crabs were good, but the roasted potatoes were embarrassing? Salt was needed via the board. The maple pork chop was perfectly cooked?. the court as a whole was a failure?.rice and yams?no?.neither had any redeeming qualities. I asked for garlic potatoes to replace my dirty rice?. the wonderful server had to go back to my potatoes because of the fact that the kitchen didn't consider my request at first?.again, no?. the garlic potatoes were....let?s Just leave it. I'm just mentioning the $119 in total because it's just added to disappointment. the price was not the problem?.the disappointment in the food was with a $119 check. All that was said?.service was AMAZING. The young ladies at the door were warm and very friendly with a smile and a quick sitting. The dining room staff was equally impressive. I regret not getting the name of our server? he went beyond and beyond to make our experience the best he could.. my young child especially? Cherries and lemons did their night?.then you. I don't want anyone to think we hate it?.we have?t?.the items we weren't good at all?. even the bread brought to the table was lacking. Austin's employees were the star of the night for us?.not enough to bring us back. I can apologise for mediocre food because the waiting staff is on point.. what it was? but even a stellar staff was not enough to save the food last night.

The first time here we came from the West Bank to check this place. Everything was amazing!! It was worth the trip. Food and service was amazing.

One of the best if not the best in the New Orleans area. The food is world class, the atmosphere is classic and the impeccable service is the icing on the cake. They treat you like family and not the way you want to go. Make sure you request Eric Weinmunson as a waiter. He's the best in business. He treated us like a royal treatment.

My husband took me here for my birthday. It was our first visit. The service was great! Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the filet and lobster with a side of a twice baked potato. The steak and lobster were cooked to perfection. It's a bit pricey, but in my opinion I think it's worth it, knowing how good the food is. We will definitely be visiting again.
