Taqueria San Luis - Mesquite

I was at an egg hunt in Mesquite during easter week when I got hungry and found this Taco joint. I really liked the food. I recommend Birria tacos, enchiladas potosinas, gorditas (they aren't greasy like other places, quesadillas con queso with grilled onions and jalapeños (I special order this quesadillas though and churros.Do understand that the food is from a specific State in Mexico for those that think Taco Bell is Mexican food. Taqueria San Luis is best for take out only.Parking: It's best for take out only.

Inside the convenience store and birria tacos were delicious! i'll definitely come back when i'm in the area

Hidden taco gem in mesquite!! My go to is the carne asada and tripa extra crispy !! Tacos are nicely filled and fair amount of salsas the green is my favorite

The only semi-good thing about this place was the tacos, but even they were just ok. The gordita and quesadillas were very basic. I think I spent about $23 here and the food was definitely not worth it for that price, I would not come out of my way to eat here again. There are far better places in Austin.

Love their Rioverdenses Enchiladas!!They are delicious and very affordable.
