Bidrage med feedbackI've always liked eating at Five Dine restaurants. Nana Dee's Diner has eluded me since I moved to Mesa. I finally have the opportunity to visit this establishment. They had so many different items to choose from! Took me a minute to figure out what I wanted! This place was very nostalgic. Definitely have the feel of a 50s 60s diner. It's been in the same spot here in Mesa for 29 years, and I barely tried it for the first time! I'm definitely going to surprise my mom and dad with this place!
Great food, fantastic atmosphere, felt like we stepped back in time. The burgers were perfect, I paid a little extra for the fries with cheese and bacon, I got the gravy on the side for dipping and the fries weren't soggy. Don't forget a malt!!! These are the best around!
If you are in the Phoenix/ Mesa area make sure you stop for lunch at Nana D's It's 1950s decor is amazing and the 50s music is super fun to listen to as you enjoy your lunch. Make sure to order a milkshake and share it with someone...it comes in the container it was made in and was pretty yummy! We share a cheese burger...the daiky special and it was really good! This is a total hidden gem in Mesa and worth the trip if you are in the area.
What a great lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Stopped in before going shopping at the mall. Everyone in the family enjoyed their meal. California Benedict, Chili w/ 1/2 sandwich and chicken strips all delicious. Don't forget room for dessert cause the warmed up apple pie and brownie sundae hit the spot. Service was fast and super friendly. Interior very clean and overall not too busy so there was good separation (if you're wanting it).
Nice classic style diner. Kitchen in view of the bar, place was immaculate, very clean and well taken care of. Staff is friendly with a relaxed vibe. The retro theme has a nice modern take without ruining the look of the classic decor. Food is inexpensive. Denny?s prices for home made tasting food.
