Bidrage med feedbackOur local family has hot dog place Also served burgers, Italian beef sandwiches (real good), 12 types of chicken breast sandwiches and typical sides. Very friendly staff. Eating is usually very good, although occasional frits are overlooked. I really like their hot dogs, with a variety of 8 different species.
Prices are high, but food is good!. The prices are quite steep for what you get and the combos should contain drinks at the given price, but my wife and I had a good overall experience at Chicagoland hot dogs and plan to come back. This small restaurant is located in the middle of a small stripe mall opposite Power Rd. I was past several months and I always wanted to stop, but it never came into my mind when I was hungry. This changed last weekend when my wife and I stayed for a bite for dinner during lunch. It wasn't particularly busy, but the business seemed stable and we were quickly served. Most of the cartridges we talked to had a positive view of the food. We decided to try a dog in Chicago style and also gave the Italian beef sandwich and the house fries on the recommendation of the owner. The hot dogs come in two sizes, regular and jumbo . Neither is especially big, but the jumbo puts you back a dollar more. The Chicago-style dog was great. All you could want right up to the celery salt, sports pepper and poppy flowers. The Italian beef sandwich, on the other hand, was only marinated beef with a piece of cheese on a bungalow. It was quite dry and definitely seemed as if it needed a sauce for diving. Although it tasted very well, neither my wife nor I felt like finishing the sandwich and agreed we would stick to the hot dogs the next time. The frits are your typical frozen spits that were fed into a frit and were just fine, but not to write at home. If the combos contain a drink at the same price, I would feel better to make this a regular stop. As it is, Chicagoland is definitely somewhere I'll come back to the big hot dogs, but much less regular than I'd like to give the current prices. If you're in the area looking for a hot dog, give Chicagoland an attempt!
Great hot dogs! Looking for a good place to get a hot dog? This is the place to go! It can just be the best hot dog place I know about. I went in with a friend at five o'clock in the evening, and there were only a few tables where we could sit. After we waited for a minute or two, we could give up our order. We have exactly what was suggested by another friend, the Chicago dog. After we paid for what I thought was an expensive dog, we took us right in front of the kitchen. I had an idea what else I should expect, then I had a suspicion that Vienna Beef Hotdogs would give because of the collage of Vienna Beef memorabilia in every corner of the store. Although I'm in curiosity mode for very long because it had our order quite fast. I was confused what I saw. I was used on the mustard and relish or mustard and sauerkraut dressed dog, but this thing was loaded! It had mustard, tomatoes, a pickle slice, onion, cosmic green relish, hot peppers, some really good spices, and to my surprise a vienna beef hotdog. The onion rings we ordered came in a large basket and by the appearance of them they were handmade. The dough on the onion was boiled to a perfect golden brown color. As I said, I didn't know how to think about how this hot dog was built. It looked like some of these toppings just didn't comb together very well. Actually, I thought it looked more like a hamburger than a hot dog. But I was very happy with what went into my mouth. All these earlier thoughts of taste were soon brought to shame, as all these flavors combined into a heavenly taste. Well, I ordered two of these things because I just couldn't get enough of the amazing taste. This is the best hot dog I've ever put in my mouth. This Ma and Pop shop definitely takes care of customers there. When I ate my onion rings, they noticed that I ate them with their special Ranch dimmer. They brought me a big dip cup of this sauce and apologised for not giving it to me with my food. At first it wasn't a big deal I thought the rings were good, but I soon found out why they were so apologetic. If I had known this sauce was as good as it was, I wouldn't have taken it. I don't know what brand they use or if they do it themselves, but I can't think of a better diving sauce, then Ranch Dressing at Chicagoland Hotdogs and more! I would recommend this place to everyone! It is by no means a beautiful place, but the food was so amazing that I am sure they know my ordinary order when I go in the door.
This place is an excellent Chicago Hot Dog Stand. Classic Chicago style delicious Viennese beef. Good price and good service. I love this place.
Went today, got the fire dog, which is a spicy Polish sausage. Got everything on it too. The sausage is mildly spicy, but definitely has a kick to it, but nothing over powering. Got a couple of small jalapenos with it, mustard, relish, etc. Really tasty. There's some seating outside, which was great (inside seating is allowed, but I'd rather not do that), plus seating outside on a 70F day is just awesome. Too bad I live in California because I'd go get a hot every week otherwise.
