12 West Brewing Co Downtown Mesa

The food was pretty good. Large portions several beers on tap but not as many as some of the other breweries in the area. The Birria Tacos were full of meat but the consomme sauce was like enchilada sauce not the best.

12 West is a nice open concept restaurant with great service and tasty wings and beer. These might be the best Buffalo wings in AZ.

Great place! Food was amazing, staff was on point. Drinks were refreshing. My husband enjoyed both craft beers he tried. I loved the cotton candy sangria.

My wife and I moved to the Phoenix area a little over a year ago. We went here probably 6-8 months ago and it was easily the best place we had been to since moving. Great food, great drinks, and great prices. Their whiskey list was extensive and the bartender they had was knowledgeable.When my family came to visit from out of state, we knew we had to take them here. However, what we didn 't know was they were changing quite a lot after they closed for a week and reopened. The food quality is significantly worse. We got the mac n cheese we got before and it was watery, had tomatoes (not listed, I hate tomatoes, and why in mac n cheese? , and no meat but the price was the same. I went to get a whiskey at the bar and the bartender had no idea what barrel picks they had and could not care less about helping me (it wasn 't even busy, maybe 6 seated at the bar? .I 'm not sure what all changed from before the renovation to after, but it 's very disappointing. It was an easy 5/5 before, now it 's barely scraping the bottom of the barrel to get the 2 stars. Honestly, it feels like they weren 't making much money based on prices and quality of food compared to other restaurants nearby and had to switch to cheaper ingredients/no protein to make it. This is disappointing as since I 'm already eating out, I 'd rather just a price increase while keeping quality high but that 's not up to me.

This is a great spot. Downtown Mesa does not get enough love and that's good and bad. Bad because you want to see more people down there and good because you can hit all the cool spots without waiting. Service here is always great, cocktail selection is good and the beers are great as well. I got the cotton candy sangria and the presentation is cool and sangria tastes amazing. Also had popcorn chicken, crunchy flavorful and plenty to share, cokes with good Crispy fries. Awesome place to check out and while you're in the area go to all the other spots too.
