Bidrage med feedbackWhenever the waiters don't speak English, why should they? We usually choose a pizza. We were both satisfied with our choice, despite the language barrier, the staff was very friendly. Merzig is a beautiful city.
Just next to the tourist information and nearby cheap parking spaces, Cafe Jobst also serves a delicious German typical Sunday buffet. The selection of breads, meat, cheese, jams and juices was wide. They also had eggs (crambled and softly cooked) and rolls (sausage and bacon)....The waiting staff was very attentive and the coffee was freshly prepared each time. The costs were 10 euros per person who is in our experience at the bottom of the cost range. I should mention that Cafe Jobst was just one of many possibilities on the PostStrasse, the only pedestrian zone.
After some morning shopping, make sure you choose from the Cafe Jobst for a great coffee and a delicious pastry, with so many ways to choose from it will not be easy. You also have a breakfast menu if your shops are not yet open. Best coffee...shop in Merzig... and you are on the way with a smile.
We were there on 12.05.2018 and we enjoyed it very well. Especially the live music with Wayne Vincent was excellent. If we're back in Saarland, we'll be happy to come back. The staff was also attentive and friendly
This was a breakfast with a musical cream bottle
