Yamato Sushi - MERRIWA

Soooo good so impressed: i asked for the crunchy sushi and brown rice and they made it fresh tasted soooo good and only 8.50 for all this sooo good could eat everyday

Ordered a Katsu chicken bento box and I was amazed by the potion size. It was much bigger than the bento box at the other sushi place in the shopping centre and cheaper. I’m a very happy customer. Wow

The sushi is ok, but terrible service. Couldn't barely understand what the guy was saying, he doesn't look to you when speaking. I asked for extra soy sauce, and wasn't enough, came back and asked the other staff one more, was in front of him and he asked to go to the counter. Really?!

Absolutely love this place, definitely my favourite sushi place i’ve ever eaten at. Lovely staff. I would love to see this place on uber eats or menu log!

Don’t be discouraged by some of the reviews claiming "bad customer service." I ordered the Katsu chicken bento, rice, salad, an eel roll, and two pieces of sushi for just under $12! Most places charge around $11 just for the chicken and rice. The Japanese BBQ sauce they drizzle on the chicken is absolutely incredible; it has a rich flavor with a subtle sweet and salty balance that pairs perfectly with the rice. Overall, it's clear that they are very busy, and those who complain about the "waiting time" should understand that a bustling kitchen means delicious food. I highly recommend this place and truly appreciate the hard work of the chefs and staff who served me. Thank you!
