Hooters - Merritt Island

Ohhhhh what do you say about Hooters? The food is average and I always feel crappy when a guy wants to take me on a date there. I 'll go there to watch a sporting event but, that 's about it. My friend like the wings but they could use some more vegetarian items on the menu to stay current with the times. They do have drink specials Now I have to go back for the meatless wings ok....ok... challenge excepted :

My family and I ordered take out from here. The food was ready very fast so that was good. I had a burger and fries. My wife got the sliders. The burgers tasted like it was boiled. I ordered a side caesar salad. It consisted of romaine lettuce, 3 croutons and a side of bad dressing. I believe this was an up charge so that wasn't good. My little guy got tenders. They were hard as rocks. I had to cut in tiny pieces so he could eat. I get why people go here but have a little pride for the food.

We go to hooters 3/4 times a months. I usually have the slider combo and my husband has the boneless wings. For all the times we have been the food and service has been great, apart from one time about a month ago as this was unusual we put it down to an off day. We have been back serval times since and taken family whist over for the Christmas period, they all loved it. Great food and service and the waitresses are always quick to top up my Chardonnay.

Service and the kitchen made mistakes on my last visit but they did make it right. However, they lose a star because I was there an extra hour and a half because of it. Disappointing because they were slow and this was a Saturday night. The food was good and that's why I go here. I will give a nod to Hooters in Melbourne for being better as far as service. Just seems the servers at MI Hooters don't really want to be there. Again, food was good once I got it and once they brought it all out, Normally I am busy and in a hurry, I wasn't so I didn't mind. I live in Coca Beach so this Hooters is my closest. But I will plan my next visit to the one in Melbourne.

So, I'm a HUGE Hooters fan until today. The hostess was friendly she seating us promptly and suggested a few new items on the menu. Our server Whitney was a cute box of rocks, she was so clueless. We ordered, she confirmed our order, came back and asked what did we order. Smh. We waited 15 minutes to get drink refills, water and an ice tea. We also wanted a side of sour cream, of course we had to grab another server to get that. Let's not talk about getting our bill and a to go box. Yeppers, I had to go to the bar and get it, a young man approached me asking if I needed help. Shockingly he was the manager, also a little clueless. At least we walked out with something to laugh about. Oh I didn't mention the ladies room. To put it mildly, I almost lost my dinner when I walked into a stall.
