Young bloke at the bar needs an Attitude adjustment..Lucky I didn't give him one!!!! Food is ok..Atmosphere is pretty non existing as it's just gotten too far out of people's reach.. The price of beer, food, and deserts, are like the whole of Australia a Rip off.. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

The service from one staff member was very disappointing. I went to the counter to place an order, but the staff was busy adjusting the POS system or something similar. I was pretty sure that the staff obviously knew that we wanted to order but without any explanation, and the staff was just ignoring and left us waiting in silence for about 2-3 minutes, almost as if the staff was saying, Just wait quietly. Then when we asked if we could place an order, there was no apology, just a brief Wait a minute. Additionally, when the staff brought the meal that my child ordered from the kids ' menu, which comes with a soft drink and ice cream, the staff didn 't ask us anything about it. There was no explanation on how to get the drink or ice cream, either. The staff was very friendly to regular customers, but there was no such courtesy extended to us. The burger and chips from the kids ' menu that my child ordered was carelessly placed in a BOWL with a burger ON a pile of chips, not even in a plate when served. I have never seen a dish presented in such a DISORGANISED plating of the dish in any restaurant on the Gold Coast. I have lived in Merrimac for over 10 years, and although I only visit occasionally, as a local, this experience was very disappointing. Never coming back again unless the service improves and the staff should learn the basic of hospitality.

This pretty bad experienced since I lived in Gold Coast that I just wanted to order for my drinks but no one try to get my order for my drinks and just ignore I won’t come back this place any more Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free parking lot

Went for lunch, good food and prices great staff and the tavern has a friendly feel about it Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
