Ballyhoos Bar Restaurant - Merrill

This place has treated me like home over the weeks. They come into them are so friendly never had something bad from the menu, and the waiting staff is fantastic. I love this place where it is definitely a place to stop.

If you were not at Ballyhoo before you have to go!!!! The inner appearance is the slightly rustic new appearance with what looks like the original wooden floors. Well lit, lots of rooms with a very nice bar/eating area, and a separate dining area for meals or parties. Now enough over the building. We had three kinds of meals... fish fry, chicken and a pack. The food was great. My fish frit was more than enough and cooked as it should be. Huge Haddock Filet, which was deep fried and not a bit greasy and the same applies to the fried shrimp I got as an extra. The pack was very big (not wanting to be huge again) and my son said it was very good. As far as I know, the chicken was also very good. The prices were excellent. Nice little soup/salad bar. And best for me, a wide selection of design beer. My wife and I had a Bull Falls Midnight Star. I'll go back.

Ballyhoos is one of the best places to eat in the city. I love the patty melt and the seafood knower is my wife's favorite. The staff is very friendly, especially the owner Cheryl.

Excellent food and service! I was greatly impressed with the staff! Will definitely be back....

For the first time came with our family. Our food was excellent, my husband especially loved the seafood knower. Two of us had the fish rog, two had the chicken, two had the special burger and one of us had the poor man lobster. Meals were all excellent. The service was great although they were pretty busy. We loved the decor! We'll definitely be back!
