Busted Shovel - Meridian

This place was much better than I expected it to be. The staff were all courteous and fun. It wasn't too loud either. Good place to go and they have pool nights. The bar tender makes a good copper camel. Mmmmm

Ive been in hundreds of Biker Friendly bars, and this is a GREAT BAR!! Im Not sure if its been sold since the one guys review. But ive NEVER had anyone not be friendly always get great food. The bathrooms are NOT ALWAYS SPOTLESS But ive NEVER HAD ANYONE REFUSE TO CLEAN IT UP IF I ASKED EITHER, BRING The Problem to the owners it's TAKEN CARE OF ON THE SPOT!!! GO IN MEET Some new people enjoy a burger at a good price!

I'm not sure why there are so many complaints, but my husband and I have recently become regulars at this place, and we really enjoy it. There were maybe two teenagers present, but they weren't served alcohol. The bartender, Jim, is a great conversationalist—he's polite and has a good sense of humor. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I've visited often enough to see that the bar is biker-friendly. I’ve noticed that bikers seem to avoid the place lately because a younger crowd aged 21-30 has been coming in, acting like they know everything about the world. Aside from that, everything is great!

I've been frequenting this establishment for several years and have witnessed numerous management changes. I wouldn't categorize it as a traditional biker bar anymore. As a bicycle commuter, I appreciate that they welcome me to pop in for a beer or two. The burgers are fantastic, so be sure to try them. Just a note: I would recommend ignoring any reviews that are more than two years old, as the staff has changed significantly since then.
