Pepper Asian Bistro - Meridian Station

The food and service was really great tonight. The service staff was very welcoming and helpful. The food was hot and fresh. The beer and wine selection was great. The food was delicious but the service was the reason I fell in love with this location. The table beside the roll up door was perfect for a dinner with a view of colfax. This is one of those places that becomes a regular neighborhood favorite. My pepper steak was so tender and the jasmine tea was delicious.

This is my go-to, local, neighborhood American Chinese Restaurant. I love their sesame anything. They have great fried rice. Lunch prices/deals are the best! Grab some Crab Cheese Wontons.

I ordered Kung pao chicken. It looked like king pao but tasted nothing like it. It almost had a fishy taste and no sweetness whatsoever. Other than that it was completely bland. I'm very disappointed.

Stay away from this place. They'll add their own tip and charge your card more than you authorize.

We arrived at Pepper Asian Bistro, quite hungry, after being refused service by another restaurant (apparently we reached at their closing time while that wasn’t the case). When we ordered at Pepper, our waitress informed that she was asking for all of our order at once only to ensure that she is able to share all of it to the kitchen and make sure we have all that we wanted. I could have hugged her at that moment. This hospitality itself is reason enough to visit Pepper Asian Bistro. The food was yummy. We ordered Chicken Pockets and Singapore noodles (subtle curry flavor) and both the dishes were very good. Good quantity, tasty food and amazing hospitality. Thank you, I look forward to visiting again!
