Cake Crumbs Llc - Meridian Station

I used to be a regular at Cake Crumbs, but since it came under new ownership, I've noticed a significant decline in both quality and service. The once warm and inviting atmosphere now feels chaotic. The quality of the baked goods has noticeably decreased, with items tasting stale or flavorless. Additionally, the service has become unreliable. Orders are frequently mixed up, and the staff seems disorganized and overwhelmed. There is a lack of attention to detail, and the overall customer experience has suffered as a result. I hope that the new ownership takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the quality and service at this bakery cafe. Until then, I will sadly be taking my business elsewhere.

So, we ordered grownup grilled cheese and Mac n’ cheese. The Mac and cheese was great. The grilled cheese was seriously the oddest thing ever. The cheese was melted between two pieces of bread, weirdly smushed and not browned at all. (As you might expect) It was as if they warmed the bread, but that was it. Then it was served with strawberry jam and whole grain mustard. Maybe mustard?? But…jam? It really was awful. Maybe other items are what they are good at making, but this sandwich was odd. Also, I really do think cleanliness is an issue. Back where you take your dishes was honestly gross.

Been going here for years. Was great when former owners ran the place. The food, their service, their attitudes have deteriorated markedly under new ownership though she, the latest owner, has owned the place for a while now. Too many times we have paid for scones, biscuits, and other pastries which tasted like they were day old; dry and tasteless. Though, I am quite sure that they were made that day. Cake Crumbs is lucky. They have no competition in the area. (Also, if one has a tree nut allergy, stay away. They make no attempt to accommodate those with nut allergies.

Their latte is amazing, breakfast is delicious and their 3D cakes look fantastic!

Omg the cookies here are sooooo amazing! Also one of the best and fairly priced bagel I have had in Denver. This has become my new favorite spot to enjoy a coffee and treat and get work done or read a book and relax!
