Siqueff Norte Restaurante - Mérida

They usually go to lunch here, but this time was the breakfast at noon. the breakfast was still served, so I decided to try it and was not disappointed. the posing eggs on homemade hashbrowns were brilliant with an unusual but very tasty sauce. they were served...with the freshest salat ever! bacon, ham sausage or salmon were available as next orders. my spouse ordered his ordinary Kibi-creuz with the specially spiced pommes on the side. They were undoubtedly also the best pommes (we had to share) we go back to breakfast.

The first time since the beginning of the covid in the fairytale excellent sanitary procedure! social distancing at place and place. started with its famous artichoke-Fondido and then the best kibi crudo everywhere! perfect as always!

I sat with my wife and daughter that merida has many people with Lebanese background, but didn't think this restaurant was so good! everything was delicious, but my favorite was definately the “Tacos arabes”!

I am really surprised this place has not received more reviews or a higher rating as we found it to be excellent. The menu is interesting, our food was all very well prepared, nicely presented and with interesting flavour combinations. The decor and ambiance is...very pleasant and it has a/c which of course is a plus, especially during the summer months. We went on a Saturday morning and the ubiquitous TVs were on with football... which I find to be very anti-social in a restaurant, but I understand that some patrons will not only enjoy that but might boycott the place if they were unable to get their dose of sports. But neither the TVs nor the music was loud (which I noticed was a comment of another reviewer). So perhaps they have listened to the feedback and made changes, which is always a sign of good management. By the way, we were a group of five people and all five were very happy with their meals and beverages.

Went here for breakfast however the ambiance music was played with great deal of volume. We kindly asked the server to lower the volume but Sergio Prettel the manger was very busy flirting with a waitress instead of solving this matter.
