Bidrage med feedbackThis place is unusual. unusual because they do not serve pasta. that is if they don't order it 24 hours in advance, so bad if they just go through. in the did pizza is the only one on the menu. there was a special board and. guests what yp, all pizzas. but there is a good choice of them and they are just good and quite big enough. desserts are what they would expect with the usual ice creams, cream brûlée, tiramisu and panacotta. restaurants are very thin on the floor around here, so if they like pizza, then this place is probably a good bet. a beautiful old dining room. the coffee was good and the service was fast and very friendly. the manager was Italian and spoke very well English.
Beautiful restaurant large pizza friendly service. reasonable price highly recommended yum yum yum
Led by an Italian family, all speaking, not only Italian and French, but also English and German, most of the cooking action finds right behind theke, where the cook and his pizza oven hold. mostly pizzas here and. they are very good with a big crust that is really thin. he will also cook pasta dishes, and we went this stretch at one of the two nights we were there. the pizzas are here but the thing, and not to miss. service is also good and friendly. it is worth visiting this place, in a region where not many restaurants are open in the evening
We decided that rather than spend an evening cooking a meal for ourselves we would try out a local restaurant. It was a very quiet Wednesday night in Merdrignac and as we approached the restaurant we feared it was closed but thankfully we were wrong....We received a warm welcome albeit that initially we were the only diners however two other parties soon arrived. There is an excellent choice of pizzas and we watched the chef preparing each one from scratch which he made look very simple but I rather expect that had I tried I would have ended up wearing it !!! As one might expect in an Italian restaurant there is also a good choice of pasta dishes but we settled on two rare entrecote steaks with fries and a salad which were cooked to perfection and very enjoyable. This was followed by a panacotta and a dame blanche which were both tasty and nicely presented. All in all this was a pleasant meal with the staff taking the time for a friendly chat with us during the course of the evening. It was good value for money and I would recommend it as an unpretentious, down to earth establishment. We will be returning again in the future
I came for dinner for business one evening, then for lunch the next day. Had a pizza for dinner and a pasta for lunch. Both were very, very good. Enjoyed a solid house Chianti. But what makes this place special (and popular) is the fantastic...hospitality by the couple who are the owners and chef. He speaks Italian, Spanish, French, and English fluently.
