Bidrage med feedbackI had the vegetarian tofu. It was pile of American Chinese food and very tasty. Many tofu and vegetables with onions, red peppers and water chestnuts. They even give white rice for free rarity in my experience. Come back, thank you!
The food is pretty good, but it is a bit expensive for what it is. Pot stickers are good, beef and broccoli dish was great.
Tried this spot over the weekend with some friends for my birthday! We tried calling the phone line didn't go through. We then ordered online and it worked so we walked over about 30 mins later to pickup the food. When we got there they hadn't actually received our order because apparently their online portal calls them over the phone and because their phones were down they never received our order! We decided to place an order there still even though it had already been 30+ mins, the lady was very kind and took an entree of our bill for the inconvenience. They also closed their actually location are serving food at the dive bar next door. We ended up getting our food in about 10 mins and it was pretty good! We got the sesame chicken, beef chow fun veggie medley. We asked for fresh tofu and got fried, and our sesame chicken was a little hard/dry but other than that it was great! I would definitely come back the service was great! Beef chow fun was delish.
A hidden gem on Mercer Island! My wife and I have always wondered about this place as we drive past it daily. Thanksgiving day we originally planned to eat dim sum in downtown Chinatown/international district, but the wait was too long and chaotic. Decided to give this place a try after reading the reviews and was very pleasantly surprised. The dim sum is very fresh, authentic, and delicious. Not greasy and generous filling portions in the dumplings and baos. Served hot and in a timely manner. The food was priced fairly and the wait staff was nice, courteous, and attentive. Being half Chinese and from a food centric family, I’m pretty experienced in traditional dim sum and Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend Tiger Garden, especially if you live on the island or close to it and don’t want to deal with the hustle and bustle of downtown Seattle.
I tried this local cuisine, hoping for the best, as food options on Mercer Island are somewhat limited. I was truly impressed by the delicious and authentic dim sum. I overheard the waitress mentioning that the chef is new and has moved here from Hong Kong. They also plan to expand the menu to include more pasta dishes and congee, which is exciting!
