Bidrage med feedbackWe stayed in porto palo at a few minutes and always fall into the restaurant for a drink on the way to the beach. we've never eaten in the restaurant, but we've been on the road for a few hours and thought we'd try to see the menu as it was. the restaurant itself is airy and the owners are welcoming so that we take a place at the window. the food is served at a good price and there is time between the curses to wait for the next plate. we did not feel hurry and took our time with the starters and the pasta is good. the most important courses are excellent. I can recommend the mushes very much and while the whole food is cooked, the smell around them is around them so they can not wait until the plate comes! the owners were attentive and helpful with our limited Italian and very friendly. we sat the following week for another dinner, as we enjoyed so much. great ambiente and very cozy place. exactly what they are looking for at a place to eat. we'll be back when we're in Sicily. Thank you.
Great pizza, cozy place, friendly staff and the feeling of being at home.
Excellent boiled octopus, discuss the marinara pasta with freshly hot seafood. Drink the white of the house. nice room and very clean bathrooms. but 76 euros for lunch for two first, one second, water and a carafe of wine seem too many. At least the coffee could offer them.
In contrast to some other foreign visitors this small restaurant at the sea we have eaten a lot there. there was a cordial greeting from the cook and her husband, which we suspected were the owners. our clam starter was delicious and even better. with whistle and spaghetti bolognese. the restaurant is in no wise chic, but it is a friendly place, carefully clean and with good home-coking type food.
We had gone to the harbour on a cloudy day to go on the beach and in the quiet waters of the harbour when we decided we were hungry. there were no other people, and we found ourselves before this. rustic little pizzeria so we went. once in the inner we realized the time of the day and that the reason why no one was because they were closed for the afternoon, just like all Sicily/Italy. the young girl in the inner went in the back and asked her father (I think) if we could be served and he came to smile and friendly and insisted that there was no problem for her to eat us. I remember he made me one of the biggest ones I've ever had. the tomato were tasty, the basilikum fresh and the mozzarella melted in my mouth. that was paired with a nice cold rosso and I was in the sky. the ristorante/pizzeria is exactly what they would expect at the sea. the walls are covered with pictures and framed mementos and there is a beautiful homey feeling for it. this is not the first experience I had in Sicily where the natives have gone out of the way to be friendly and helpful, and I will not forget one soon.
