Taco Madre - Mendota

I tried the tacos at a party catered by this restaurant and instantly fell in love. When I found out they were from Mendota, I decided to stop by for lunch. However, when I went to pay for my order, the cashier informed me that they only accepted cash. I expressed that this information was not clearly stated anywhere, but the cashier did not point out any signage indicating this policy. Unfortunately, I had to walk away without my order. Due to this inconvenience and the fact that I rarely carry cash, I do not see myself returning to this establishment. Service: 1/5 stars.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. We ordered takeout for dinner and were extremely satisfied. The price per person is between $20 and $30. The service was also top-notch, with a rating of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and we felt very comfortable dining there. There is plenty of parking available in a free parking lot.

The poblano tacos only had a quarter of the poblano in it. Maybe less. When ordering a stuffed poblano pepper taco you're supposed to get the whole pepper in your taco. Especially for the price. Authentic mixed with new wave. If that's your thang then this is the place for you. Staff was awesome though and the horchata , rice water was bussin. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Delicious, fast and reasonably priced. We had chicken tacos and burritos, both came out hot and toppings were very fresh.
