Bidrage med feedbackThe parking lot here is very narrow and a little hard to navigate when it is a busy night. Geting the Handicap accessibility in the restaurant is not the easiest, but once you are in it is very easy to move. We are often here and enjoy it for the most part. Tonight the service was just fine. I'm pretty sure she changed her salsa recipe because it wasn't as tasty as it is normally., it tasted like and had the consistency of a can of diced tomatoes and onions. The other hot sauces they offered were very good. The chips were all crushed and were not as freshly tasted as they are normally. The strawberry banana margaritas were very good and well balanced. 3 of us on the table ordered the steak Chimichanga food and they were not disappointed. They were crispy and well filled with steak and cheese, the sides were rice and a little roasted corn taco peel with the fried beans were very delicious. The chicken roll was quite bland tasting, but was filled with what the menu displayed. There is a sign at the door asking if you please use money to help them reduce costs which was good with us.
We had a great time here with friends. Traditional Mexican cuisine! Good taste, really good. Enjoy it.
The food was very delicious! The Steak Burrito and some fried mushrooms ordered! Service was great and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The gold margarita was perfect! Let's go back. Next time we'll eat outside!
As a relative newcomer in the city, this was our first time here. The food was wonderful with generous portions. For my son's birthday party we ordered an order before the time, and the order was hot, fresh and accurate on time. The people in El Zarape did fantastic! From the order and answer to my questions minutes after the opening) to the preparation and packaging of my order, they knocked it out of the park! Great work!!!
Love it. When I go to the farm I stop by here with the family. Really impressed with the food presentation here not even in Chicago... Love the way they come out on those hot rock like plates and the steak super rare with that butter. The owner is a jolly man and super attentive. Really a hidden gem.
