Bidrage med feedbackWe are local residents and decided to order takeout because we were too tired to cook after work. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the portion sizes, high prices, and bland taste of the food. The tandoori mixed grill, which cost £15.00, was not worth it as the silver trays were only half full. We suggest dining elsewhere as our order was also delivered cold due to an incorrect address being written down.
My friend and I were visiting Frome for the weekend and didn't have a restaurant reservation. We stumbled upon Namira and were delighted with our meal. We couldn't recall the exact name of the dish, but the lamb was delicious. The onion Bhajee was also very tasty, and we enjoyed the flavorful rice and Naan bread. The dishes came highly recommended and we couldn't find any faults. The staff were excellent and very helpful. If I find myself back in Frome, I would definitely dine at Namira again.
We dined at Namira Spice, formerly known as Namira Spice, while staying in Frome before visiting Longleat the next day. Our hotel recommended this place for a curry. We arrived early to accommodate our children, so the restaurant was quiet. The carpet was worn and dirty, but we were warmly greeted by a gentleman who took care of us throughout our meal. The menu was extensive, with some new dishes for us to try. The gentleman helped us with our order, and we enjoyed poppadoms, a variety of amazing dips, starters, curries with rice, chips, and breads. The only issue was that my curry was not as spicy as I like, but the gentleman quickly brought out a delicious sauce to add some heat. The service was top-notch, the food was fantastic, and overall, we had a great experience at Namira Spice.
We ordered lots of the vegetarian staters instead of ordering main meals. The food was very good and really tasty. Some of the best Indian vegetarian food I've eaten. Service was very good and friendly. Definitely going back at some point.
Frome is a sleepy quiet quirky small but hilly town, and the NAMIRA SPICE as its now called sits a the top of the town. We ate early, only people in the restaurant. We ordered a £7.50 for two persons starter Shish Kebab based dish. Presentation wise, it kind of looked like one meal cut in half, as the plating looked like that. Not pretty, but tasted fine. Main course, we chose a dish I had before somewhere in Evesham which was great, a lamb based dish called Railway something, and here to, absolutely delicious but was quite a small portion for the cost. I ordered a dry chille garlic chicken dish I think it was, I accidently chomped on the whole chille and burnt my gum it was that spicy, but once the lager cooled it down, fabulous dish (having shoved the offending chillie remnant to the side of the plate). We ordered 2 breads, couple of drinks and £54 total which seems really high to me. But the food was 5 5.
