Il Tana - MENAGGIO

We arrived in Menaggio as our last stop from riding the Lake Como ferry all afternoon, before heading back to our car, on the opposite side of the lake. We were thirsty, so decided to give II Tana a try, and we were SO glad that we did, I was wanting a beer, so I approached the bar where the bartender quickly offered assistance in making my selection. She was very friendly and helpful, in making my choice. I landed on a Birra Moretti Baffo D'oro, a blond beer, and was very happy once I took my first taste. Just as I sat down at a table to enjoy my drink, the bartender came to the table with a delicious board full of local ham, sausage, and bread, to go with my refreshing beer. What an unexpected delight!

Situated on the water’s edge near to the ferry stop. A good choice of food and drink. Helpful staff. Do try and sit outside.

Ths little bar is right in front of the ferry stop. We had to wait 30 minutes till the next ferry and stopped in for a wine and a draft beer while we waited. The service was fast and friendy.

Soul touching lasagne bolognese! among other dishes. very rude staff, but they will not care much because of the intention of the restaurant. I can't wait to go back.
