Sekisui International. - Memphis

Never eat at Sekisui, this is not a Japanese restaurant. I would not recommend eating sushi at this place.

I don't know what happened, here, but the menu changed dramatically for the better. This place has, by far, the most authentic Japanese cuisine in the Memphis metro area, now, and it serves it at reasonable prices. The decoration and atmosphere could certainly be improved, but if you want Japanese with JAPANESE FLAVOR--not American or Chinese flavor with a Japanese appearance--this is the place to go.

Excellent place, clean, you can enjoy amazing ramen soups, sushi is delicious with great variety, the owner/chef usually personally greets customers and makes sure you're enjoying your food, he's great with kids, atmosphere is great either for a family dinner, romantic place or solo.

It's a great place with sushi made well and a wonderful, relaxing vibe. I love coming here.

The service here was great with little to no wait. The food was good, I just wasn't crazy about it that much.
