Newk's Eatery - Memphis

Not gonna hold you one of the best sandwiches I've had at a corporate/franchised restaurant. The one on populat I built my sandwich with the base starting out as their club sandwich. I add the carmelized onion red onion yellow bell peppers, pesto sauce, olive oil and extra tomatoes. Chef's kiss with a side Cesar salad (which I also added an egg, onions, extra parmesan and peppers. With a little big rice crispy for dessert!!

Everyone was super friendly, and the food was great.

You know, I know people are out there, trying to be a little quirky and doing their whole schtick thing, but the gentleman who took my order, who looks like the love child of Super Mario and Einstein, is about as abrasive as they come. People were in front of me, looking at the menu on the wall and he hollered out, “Can I help someone please?!” in a very aggressive and sarcastic tone to get people to come up to the front of the line. Several times I have been in there and this guy just rubbed me the wrong way with his comments on. I have stopped going here for lunch and only go at night. I have not seen him the times I have gone in the evening, but everybody else who I get is very nice, respectful, and courteous.

I ordered take out, and they were organized and on time with my food in the busiest location in Memphis, TN, at lunchtime. I was truly impressed since it was my first time. The food was amazing.

My food was great. Been wanting to try for a while and super glad i did today!
