Lunchbox Eats - Memphis

I didn't realize the surprise I was in for from this little tucked away gem in downtown Memphis. Everything from the menu to the decorations to the food name is set up around a school cafeteria. At first glance at the menu I was a little worried with the wide variety of weird sandwich combinations but one bite felt like Heaven in my mouth. My choice was the Leadership Mac Pork Club. Hickory smoked pork butt and delicious Mac and cheese on thick cut, toasted bread. Um um good!! I will be back indeed.

What a neat place to eat! I have the waffle and chicken, I am picky about my waffle and theirs is one of the best I had, and the chicken is so tender, never had avocado fries before (avocado jo jo) and it is so good. I sure will be back to try something different next time.

123 BLT sandwich is awesomely good especially how they use thick cut deep bacon then deep fry it with great tangy sauce they spread on the Texas toast. There is nothing in this world better then deep fry bacon.

My husband and I arrived close to closing but was greeted and seated without a problem. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The environment was very friendly . The owners came out and talk with us and ensured our food was to our liking. I will highly recommend this place and will return soon.

Hidden treasure in downtown Memphis !!! excellent food, service décor is so school!!!! Must try!!!!!!
