A & R Bar-B-Que - Memphis

We went to A and R for our first of many visits to come on July 4 2022. It has fair prices and really good food! We had the ribs ,beans, and potato salad. Everything was great ! I think I could live on just the potato salad!

All I have to say is everything is Busting, Fire,Awesome, on the menu if you haven't been there, get there now, one of the best Bar-B-Q spots in town.Dont sleep on this spot ????

I?ve eaten at every barbecue place in NC worth eating at and most that aren?t over 40 years. I?ve tried dozens of other styles around the nation as well. The pork shoulder sandwich is easily one of the top three barbecue experiences I?ve had, no question. Perfectly tender, smoky, and the sauce doesn?t cover up the quality pork. The sides aren?t slouching either. The beans are what every pot of beans wants to be. The okra was fresh and right out of the fryer. No pre-breadedfrozen stuff here. My only complaint is that it?s 2000 miles from where I live. Do not miss this treasure.

Yesterday was my first time eating at A&R and I was not disappointed. I orderd the full Slab of ribs. The ribs were falling off the bone and the sauce, was finger licking delicious. I was greeted with a friendly amd warm smile when I entered the establishment. I was given a great recommendation on my menu selection. My only disappointment was when I ate all ribs. I am a customer for life. A&R equals perfection.

Best BBQ I've ever had. I've had it in Texas, KC, Carolinas, and I live in Atlanta... but I've never had BBQ flavor this good before. This is a simple spot without bells or whistles, just incredible food.
