Esco Memphis Tapas

We arrived for our reservation only to wait an additional 45 minutes beyond our scheduled time. Gaining entry felt like a struggle, as we had to plead with the bouncer to let us in. The hosts were unprofessional, with one even snapping at us twice, saying, I told y 'all you can go to the table, didn’t I? Why are y 'all standing here? This was after we had been instructed to wait, and we were simply trying to confirm our next steps, as it 's customary to be escorted to your table. We raised our concerns with the manager, who appeared to listen but ultimately did nothing to address the situation. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. The lemon drops were good, but the Cajun pasta lacked flavor—I barely ate it, though I didn 't bother to complain further given the lack of attentiveness from the management earlier. I found the wings to be decent, but two people in my group found them soggy after requesting them to be fried hard. Overall, I wouldn 't recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a sit-down meal. It might be better suited for those seeking a club-like atmosphere.

Nesha was our waitress and she did an amazing job. She was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Also, the food was a 10/10! We’re visiting from Houston and will definitely make sure to come back!

I had steak and eggs!!! Best in the city if you asked me. Cam cooked that ribeye to perfection. Full of flavor. Not to fat not to lean. Kita was my waitress. She checked on us often and was warm and welcoming. It was refreshing to be at a place with good food AND SERVICE!!!
