Andys Fish Sysonby Street - Melton

The fries were fantastic and the service was excellent. Keep up the great work. This is the best fish and chip shop in Melton Mowbray.

Every two to three weeks, two households order from this restaurant. The service is excellent, the food is great, and there are no complaints.

Fish was more batter than actual fish and chips not great. Service was ok but in my opinion quality was poor There sadly isnt any great chippys here in Melton

I am a Huge fan of the good old Fish Chips,when it is cooked right.This experience was not that good.I was told that it was the best ever and was how it used to be back in the day when it was Harrisons. Not so, the chips were soggy and the batter was like rubber,not to my liking at all,some people might like this but I prefer crispy batter and a good firm chip.Sorry ,will not be back.

Having previously visited this ‘chippy’ several times, it was a pleasure to re visit after several months. The fish (cod) was freshly fried, lightly but well battered and the chips abundant. Mushy peas are mushy peas! You either like them or— . I do, as did our guests, one of whom also had curry sauce gravy!! Service was cheerful, the food was well wrapped and not overly expensive. Four of us had a good alfresco supper. We will go there again.
