Umago Cafe - Melbourne

Been here plenty of times for years now, even with previous owner or before menu changed to the current one. Food is still served well, whether it is steak or pasta. For your first time, highly recommend to dine in rather than take away. The experience is better. Food takes a bit of time to get served but it’s worth the wait. Love the steak, lamb shanks, entrees and pizza

The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and tidy. However, I was a bit unsettled when a large bug ran across the table while I was paying. Despite that, it was still a good meal. I would consider returning in the future!

The customer service at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The staff are extremely friendly and it is my go-to place whenever I am in the mood for a steak. The mushroom sauce is heavenly, the meat is cooked to perfection, and the salad dressing is delicious. I have been here numerous times and it has never let me down. Not a single time!

I have to mention the friendly and always smiling waitress who made us feel so welcomed. She was attentive and quick. Unfortunately, we were freezing inside as it was quite cold on the night we visited. Overall, the food was excellent and beautifully plated for its price. The only downside was that the mushroom sauce was a bit too creamy for my taste and became sickening halfway through. Nevertheless, the steak was cooked perfectly and served with a nice salad and chips. I really enjoyed it.

Came here with my partner before catching up with friends. The atmosphere was great, friendly staff and just overall nice place to go. The food was cooked perfectly with amazing flavours. Will definitely be coming back here again!
