Tinto - Melbourne

I was so fortunate to be taken to Tinto for my birthday. This was a most memorable meal! The service was exemplary and the food was sublime. I'm still dreaming of eating the anchovies on bread fried in duck fat with hay-smoked butter. A must for anyone dining in. An excellent high quality restaurant with specialised staff and a menu to return for , as a Queenslander visiting for Melbourne wine and food week. Obviously we left the best to our last! Absolutely superb and full of surprise.

We have been visiting Tinto for some time now, with friends, as a couple, as a family. It is a fabulous space. Quick drink, tasty snack, leisurely dinner, bar seats, dining room, courtyard or kitchen table, Tinto does it beautifully every time. The staff are delightful; knowledgable and passionate about food and wine, and always focused on providing a wonderful experience. Make sure you order the sardines, and if there are barramundi wings on the specials you MUST try them.

Great food and great service, it's a Melbournes must! Highly recommend, as it's much better than any other Spanish restaurant in Melbourne. Oh...and of course I can say that because I'm Spnish

Wow what a lovely meal. We have been to Tinto a few times and we always leave with a full belly, a huge smile on our faces. The owners are so beautiful and welcoming, they have a wonderful menu and fantastic wine selection. We will be back and we will bring more people to experience the delicious we have had.
