Bidrage med feedbackKha na moo krob (pork belly) was very enjoyable, albeit pretty fatty and sinful. The fish cakes were quite nice as well. Satay gai yang was quite flavorful as well. Came here at about 2pm while the staff were cleaning up after lunchtime, but they were still friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere at this unsuspecting eatery is really good it doesn't look much from the outside but it opens up to a large seating area. the food is Thai with good flavours and plenty of authentic spiced dishes. Staff were excellent and very friendly.
Great mid week lunch. The place feels more like a cafe than a Thai restaurant. Good service and nice decor with a great location next to Melbourne Uni.The menu is mostly for seafood lovers with some tofu and chicken options, no beef.Food was very tasty with nicely served and fresh. Will revcomend, in particular for the seafood fans (not me though).
I dropped by here for breakfast one morning. The décor is fairly glitzy, a little urban industrial, with hints of Asian influence. The exposed beams, and exposed brick wall, somehow combines happily with fishy reliefs on the wall, some cane chairs, barrels. minimalist stools, and some plusher seating in booths. Really quite a lot to take in, which makes it interesting. The menu similarly isn’t traditional Thai, but a curious and creative repertoire. Vegetarians and vegans are catered for, which is good to know. It is probably a better venue for lunch or dinner, as the breakfast I had was a little unusual, and perhaps an acquired taste – not quite ready for adventurous dining early in the morning. But it was good quality, and filling. The service is very welcoming – I was ushered in soon after they opened, and attended to with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Big fan of Middlefish many years. Loves the vibes here, service was good, fast and easy when you are near VIC market and you wanna have some thai food. My fav is stir fried chinese broccoli with pork on rice. Good coffee too. All in one place.
