Bidrage med feedbackThe food at this restaurant is truly amazing and is as close to authentic Indian cuisine as it gets. The service is exceptional, with the staff always smiling and happy. I highly recommend trying the Papdi Chaat, Sev Puri, and Goat Pepper Fry!
This restaurant offers delicious food, though the prices are a bit on the high side. The ambiance is good and the hospitality services are average. It would have been better if they had separated the private event area with some partitions, as the noise level was quite high and the live music was also loud. Overall, it's a good restaurant with great food. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. I especially enjoyed the chili paneer, which is one of the best I have ever had in Melbourne. The Chicken Madras was also very good, as well as the Malai Tikka. The ambience of the restaurant is also nice.
We were looking for a last minute dinner location locally and remembered a recent review about this place on a foodie group. First impressions as we walked in at 8.30pm was excellent, the restaurant was full to the brim with not a single vacant table. Luckily we did make a last minute booking so we were seated as soon as a group left. The menu is comprehensive with the usual North Indian favourites and a few key standouts. They do have a great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. We ordered entree asap with drinks as we realise the wait for mains will be a while due to the crowd. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner. Great atmosphere, food was tasty. Cuttlery and crockery were clean. The wait was a little long but it’s expected as they were really busy. Wait staff can be a little better as in friendlier and more attentive but I think they were really under the pump and short staffed so it was acceptable. For us the absolute standout dish was the eggplant bharta and Naans and Carrot Halwa. Everything else was really good too with a couple of exceptions. Entree Sev Poori 9/10 Mix Tandoori Platter 6/10 (lacked salt and the lamb was too dry) Mains: Kadai Chicken 8/10 (a little under seasoned) Dry Pepper Prawn 9/10 Eggplant Bharta 10/10 Masala Bar Goat 7/10 (too much fat and bones gravy was nice and spicy) Jeera Rice 7/10 (rice wasn’t as fluffy& puffed as basmati should be) Naans 10/10 Desserts Carrot Halwa 10/10 Rabdi 10/10 Gulab Jamun 4/10 (Over fried and hard) Falouda 8/10 There are many Indian restaurants out Berwick/Cranbourne /Clyde way but not many are good or consistent. It’s nice to have found this one. Looking forward to returning to Masala Bar Grill Berwick.
This restaurant ticked all my boxes. Good food, variety of menu choices, toilets, comfortable chairs, many drink options including mocktails, staff were helpful. Only con is we waited along time for our food, however we did order items that take a while to cook. I highly recommend trying it, and it is now a favourite for us.
