Mamak - Melbourne

It wasn't bad, but the chicken satay wasn't authentic, it only marinated with salt and turmeric. It should have more spices etc etc. The peanut sauce is quite salty, the chef should have tasted it. Cuttlefish sambal also quite salty, would have been great if it wasn't that salty. On the other hand the sambal belacan is spot on, yum yum and cendol is delicious. I will go back, hopefully this time the chef or who ever that made the sambal and satay sauce do check the amount of salt they dumped in their cooking. By the way we had to ask the waiter to warm up the satay sauce as it was served COLD.

Loved it. Good food, quick service and friendly staff. Reasonably priced.

For me, Melbourne is quite laid back so the place reminds me to just slow down, relax enjoy. It reminds me too, the place where I came from.

Satay beef skewers were amazing with the house made satay sauce and the roti bead with sambal snd curry sauce were excellent too! my only complaint is i didn't order enough lol

An authentic Malaysian restaurant that serves delicious rotis, satays murtubah. Sensational!
