Being in ISO has had me seriously craving fish and chips, as I guess they are one of the best comfort foods. My go-to for great takeaway seafood is Hunky Dory, as I love the professionalism of this chain; and I know I can rely on delicious and consistent food. <br/ <br/ My most recent visit to the South Melbourne store saw me order some flake, chips, calamari and the obligatory potato cakes. Everything was crispy and golden, nice and salty; and everything I could want in a box of fish and chips. With excellent, friendly service and a fun atmosphere, Hunky Dory is one of those venues that always delivers.

Hunky Dory have just launched a range of delicious plant-based dishes this summer. Hunky Dory’s owner, Greg Robotis, comes from a long line of fishermen, dating back almost 90 years to the Greek Islands. Hunky Dory first opened in 2004 with a vision to offer healthier seafood options along with the more traditional fried fish and chips.
