Bidrage med feedbackI am thrilled to have discovered this restaurant. The food is tasty and fulfilling. It can be difficult to find a restaurant that caters to various food intolerances, but this place meets all the criteria. I absolutely love it!
This cafe with warm atmosphere is located at Yarraville and one of the most friendly and creative cafes in Melbourne. <br/ This cafe provides excellent options of new menu every week and has good sense in vegan and gluten-free options.<br/ You will be impressed by not only a variety of healthy desserts in cafe, but also delicious and pretty desserts at local. <br/ <br/ The price range is more reasonable than brunch cafes located in the city centre and you can check the detailed menu at homepage. <br/ Choices for seats are available such as indoor and terrace, and wifi internet is free to use. <br/ <br/ I would recommend this experimental, challenging and excellent cafe to anyone who looks for vean, gluten-free menus. <br/ <br/ <br/ instagram : morefruitfruit<br/ <br/ blog : [hidden link]<br/ <br/ e-mail : [hidden email]
I 'm always on the lookout for some healthier options to balance out my naughty side; and it 's fantastic that these days healthy no longer means boring. Nowhere is this more apparent than at Healthy Self Co, in the hip village like suburb of Yarraville. With a plant based organic menu, the food at this amazing cafe is next level.<br/ <br/ The cafe itself has a calm and happy vibe, with homely touches that instantly make you feel at ease. The staff are amazing. So lovely and helpful, and also willing to stop and chat with customers and locals alike. We were seated at the front window bench, and it was lovely to look at the interesting streetscape on a deliciously sunny day.<br/ <br/ Starting with fabulous coffee, we order from the fantastic menu which lists an array of healthy bowls, smoothies and sandwiches. There is also a display cabinet filled with amazing raw treats that are so tempting. We kick things off with the 'Be Awakened ' smoothie, which includes a double shot of espresso. The smoothie is huge and delicious... like a healthy coffee milkshake. So decadent, but full of goodness...it 's exactly what I needed to get through a busy day!<br/ <br/ We decided to go with a savoury bowl, and we picked the Panda. With teriyaki eggplant, cucumber, brown rice, wasabi slaw and black sesame mayo this health bowl was all kinds of awesome. So tasty and fresh, with just a hint of heat. The flavours were amazing, and the eggplant was so tender. Every mouthful was delicious, and such proof that natural food really has flavour.<br/ <br/ I couldn 't resist the pancakes, and the weekly special included strawberry compote, fresh berries, coconut icecream, cocoa nibs and Persian fairy floss. The pancakes themselves are vegan and honestly taste as good as any regular style pancake. Such a pretty stack, with the sweet and sharp compote adding so much contrast to the velvety icecream.<br/ <br/ Exceptional service and a welcoming ambience are certainly attractive qualities about this healthy haven; but it 's the tasty and nutritious food that really keeps the locals constantly coming back for more.<br/ <br/
The food was healthy and tasty at the same time. Everything we ordered was just amazing, and the best toastie I have had so far. The only complaint was the 40min wait to get the food on the table. Food: Nourish bowl, Be my fettuccine and ham cheese toastie, Carmel stick (wow)Drinks: chai (no sugar), baby chino, be smooth
Friendly staff. The nourish bowl had heaps of flavour. Pumpkin was cooked well and tasted great with the quinoa. Zeal bowl was amazing. So many ingredients but worker well with one another. Especially loved the tempeh flavouring
