Fratelli Fresh - Melbourne

We had a fantastic experience at Fratelli's. We went for a birthday celebration and took advantage of their special offer, which gave us a free dessert and $50 off our bill. However, the restaurant impressed us with more than just the deal. The olives and bruschetta were a delicious start to our meal. Our main dishes - lamb ragout, linguine, and risotto - were all fantastic. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and they even had a vegan option available upon request. For dessert, we enjoyed an authentic tiramisu with a strong coffee flavor and delicious Mascarpone. They also had a great selection of wine to pair with our meal. But what stood out the most was the excellent service. The staff was always friendly and helpful, never intrusive, and always attentive to our needs. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

After revisiting this restaurant and upgrading my rating to 5 stars, I must say that they have truly improved their service and food quality since opening. The pizzas are exceptional, and I would have a difficult time choosing between this place, DOC, or another high-quality restaurant. As a long-time fan of Fratelli from my time in Sydney, I found it to be a refreshing break from the trendy and upscale dining options in the city. Now that they have opened in Melbourne, I can confidently say that the experience is top-notch. The interior surpasses any of their Sydney locations, and the combination wood fire and gas oven is a marvel to see. The menu offers authentic Italian cuisine at a fair price, though there are some minor drawbacks like small tables and tiny plates. The menu changes often, but the staff will accommodate any requests for past favorites. Despite the tough competition in Melbourne, Fratelli always manages to impress me. Give them a try and see for yourself!

Great for both families and couples, the staff is friendly and the food and service are amazing!

Margharita Pizza was excellent! Staff are still learning the menu but excusable as it was only day 2. Aranchini balls lacked flavor but all in all a good Italian restaurant. Sydney one was definitely better.

Best margherita pizza I've had since Naples the tomatoes and mozzarella and crust were all soooo tasty. five stars for sure
