Fairy Mountain Chinese - Melbourne

This place is the best Chinese food I have ever had. Every single one of the staff were lovely, extremely polite and amazing. The food is simply to die for. The meals are huge, great value for money and delicious. Highly recommended! Won't ever go elsewhere for chinese food : (Ps. Dont eat all day... trust me you are going to need the room in your tummy! Been to fairy mountain quite a few times in Olinda then followed to monbulk love the food and the service is so friendly and prompt I would recommend fairy mountain a lovely enjoyable place to eat

We were very excited to come and see Fairy Mountain's new Monbulk location. The venue is delightful cosy warm with a coonara fire, an enchanting painting across the back wall, and charming attention to detail. Soft jazz created a relaxed atmosphere. Service was prompt and friendly. We were seated and our napkins unfolded; the waiter brought us complimentary prawn crackers and menus. We ordered the calamari as an entree to share and enjoyed it immensely for a fried dish it was incredibly light and fresh, and perfectly cooked. To follow we had the special fried rice with pork, and the ginger chicken. I've never had such tender chicken in all my life, and this was sliced breast meat! We first visited Fairy Mountain at Olinda whilst on honeymoon in 2012 and were pleasantly surprised to find that the waiter remembered us. Fairy Mountain is a delightful first class restaurant and we can't wait to go again!
